Near to everything

At the heart of the Paris region, the most important French region in industrial terms, Cergy-Pontoise plays a particularly active role in the regional economy. At Cergy-Pontoise you benefit from being close to both Paris and to the national and international business and innovation networks. The Paris Region is:

  • 330 million consumers within a radius of a 2 hour flight
  • 88 million passengers pass through the region's airports each year
  • 30.2% of French GDP and 4.7% of EU GDP
  • Most popular European location for business conferences and events
  • 2nd most important region in the EU for foreign direct investment

Do you want to access other important economic centres in the Paris Region or the centre of Paris? Nothing could be more simple. Road and rail links will help you reach your destination quickly.
As well as easy access into the centre of Paris, Cergy-Pontoise has an easy and traffic-free connection with the Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport ... and the rest of the world.

Cergy-Pontoise is strategically positioned between Paris and its region and the waterway axis of the river Seine. This facilitates interaction with neighbouring regions. This advantage is being reinforced through a number of projects, notably the integration of Cergy-Pontoise in the Confluence Seine-Oise area and a number of ongoing large scale infrastructure projects (the extension of the RER E train line, the Seine Nord Europe Canal and the Seine Métropole Port).

Cergy-Pontoise in Figures

  • 40 minutes car journey to Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport without entering the dense Parisian traffic

What our companies say

« We are close to both the A15 motorway linking us to Le Havre, from where we export our goods, and to the RER A train that links us directly with Châtelet in Paris, where our HQ is located." ».
